Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
The Level 3 in Health & Social Care is aimed at Care Assistants & Support Workers currently working within the care industry, looking to attain a nationally recognised qualification. The focus of the Level 3 in Health & Social Care, is to assess and guide the development of skills and knowledge relating to the health and social care workforce and confirming the learners competence. Learners must achieve a minimum of 58 credits to gain the Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Adults). For England you can complete a general qualification or have the opportunity to specialise for example in learning disabilities or dementia care. Learners in Wales must complete the unit Understand Sensory Loss. Health or Social care learners in N. Ireland or England and Health care learners in Wales are not required to achieve this unit and can elect units of their choice. The QCF diploma is the required qualification for registration and regulatory requirements in the social care sector for England, Wales and N. Ireland.
